Rotary International District 3020 is located along the southeastern coastline of India, nestled between the scenic Eastern Ghats and the Bay of Bengal. This region, rich in natural beauty, is renowned for its picturesque coastline, lush green paddy fields, expansive orchards, and thriving marine and coastal fisheries—making it a destination worth experiencing at least once in a lifetime.
Prior to the year 2000, the district was referred to as RID 302. In 2001, the designation of RID 3020 was reaffirmed. Initially, the district comprised three zones: Visakhapatnam, Kakinada, and Vijayawada. Subsequently, a fourth zone—Vizianagaram—was introduced to provide focused representation for the areas of Vizianagaram and Srikakulam.
As of July 1, 2025, Rotary International District 3020 encompasses six revenue districts: Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, East Godavari, West Godavari, and Krishna. With a strong network of 81 Rotary Clubs 46 Rotaract Clubs and a dedicated membership of 4,514 Rotarians, and 702 Rotaracts the district has proudly implemented numerous impactful service projects and continues to uphold the values and mission of Rotary International with distinction.
